Chet Faker - Notting Hill Arts Club

Chet Faker came into my life a month ago,
recommended by a friend.

Chet Faker's music holds a kind of unique genius. He delves brilliantly into the technology side of music, with keyboards and particular samples used to create this unique, and dream-like airy colourful atmosphere. I felt as though the sun was setting in this underground club as he went from track to track, with a few laughs inbetween.

He does all of this whilst maintaining and creating a strong beat and drum in the background and foreground to every track, along with what I believe to be the core and soul of good music - his spine tingling metal melting vocals and simply beautiful keyboard/piano abilities.

If you ever have the chance to see Chet Faker live, make sure you do.
Scroll down for some songs and more photographs -

I can't say I've journeyed with him on the road to success or followed his talent for long, but I certainly am going to now, even more so after seeing him live. So expect to see Chet in many more places...

A little background behind my evening -
I found out about this opportunity Thursday morning, to be able to take these images, after work at 6pm, I rushed home from London Bridge back to Hertfordshire, gathering my camera a change of clothes, I then travelled back to Notting Hill to see Chet for 9pm.

I had no directions and hadn't even looked for where the club was... Luckily I met a lovely bunch of people at the train station, and we found our way to the venue together.
